Comprised of industry professionals and rate payers, the ad hoc Solid Waste Analysis Group was formed in 2008. Our mission was to evaluate the entire scope of proven operating systems and technology involved in MSW management, recycling, and anaerobic digestion coupled with compost production.

Our overarching goal was to examine the best operating techniques that offered optimal efficiency and ROI in tandem with analyzing the potential benefits of collocating successful system elements to create a synergized and integrated complex for high value material recovery.

Collocation of all necessary facilities demands substantial site acreage

with local accessibility. Currently, there is no integrated system with recovery and re-manufacturing facilities assembled and operating in unison on a singular vast campus. Though  a challenge in established communities, it can be achieved through creative vision involving collaborative public- private partnerships with jurisdictional cooperation, and most importantly a Committed Champion.

This unique opportunity will create a superior and one of a kind model for sustainable closed loop systems while increasing employment  and economic development through value-added  material recovery.
