The analysis group was formed more than 10 years ago to evaluate possibilities to substantially enhance efficiencies and dramatically increase the value of recovered recyclables that had  been stagnant for many years. Today with some form of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) becoming inevitable, we finally have an opportunity for synchronizing end-of-life management on a national scale.
Regrettably, this won’t be possible if every jurisdiction introduces dissimilar EPR legislation, and the PROs are allowed to design an organization for their advantage.               There must be one independent commission of third-party recognized professionals, constructing a harmonized               EPR end-of-life solution.
